Killeavy Castle Estate Hotel - Meigh

I liked the breakfast time in the bar.

The unit we got was a nice size and well-equipped with terrace opening on to the walled garden and the bathroom plus great view.

The hotel was pleasant and impeccably clean with stunning views of the walled garden & the Mourne Mountains. We were greeted by competent, extremely helpful staff. Excellent location, it was just next door to the gardens and case, and the bar restaurant.

This was a reliable pick for a flash visit in Meigh with good value. The breakfast was generally good, with attentive service, made for a pleasant start to the day. Just be aware of parking access to avoid hauling luggage up steps.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fine views from my room, overlooking the picturesque estate and the surrounding landscapes. The accessibility features like ramps and wide hallways made navigating the hotel easy for someone like me.

More shaded seating areas outside would be appreciated.

The staff, particularly Aaron at the bar and Katie at the front desk, provided personalized recommendations and were genuinely enthusiastic about their work. The modern and spacious Beautiful Guestroom featured floor-to-ceiling windows and a luxurious bathroom.

Parking access was unclear, and breakfast could use more variety.

Outdoor hot tub not operational!!! Limited vegetarian dining options could deter guests!!! Slow service in the restaurant needs improvement!!! Room temperature control inadequate for comfort!!!

The three-bedroom chalet was spacious with comfy beds, a tv, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The spa was the highlight, offering relaxing back massages and body treatments. The food was delicious, especially the afternoon tea, and the staff were super friendly. Gorgeous views of the surrounding gardens added to the experience.

The food was a real highlight, with good bar meals and attentive service. For the second treat, the modern, spacious room was like a little slice of luxury.

Finding where to park was a tad tricky with steps to climb, and the breakfast menu could use some jazzing up for longer stays. A salmon option would've been a gem!

The scenery was beautiful, especially on our walks. The in-house catering staff did an very nice job with the meals. After a long day, we enjoyed the spa experience, which helped us relax. I totally recommend this place, especially for group getaways.

Lovely staff and a large, clean room. Leisure facility fees were high post check-out.

Fine surroundings and really good service

The spa experience was relaxing, and the staff were pretty good too accommodate my needs. Breakfast was a good treat with a variety of freshly made options that set a perfect start to the day. I would only suggest that service at dinner could be improved as it was a bit slow.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, where I enjoyed the warm welcome drink and the relaxing jacuzzi experience provided in the treatment room.

I loved every moment of my stay! The superior guestroom was spacious, modern, and offered fine views of the estate's picturesque gardens. The dining experience was great, especially the seven-course tasting menu that exploded with local flavors!
